Artists :: B :: The Bad Livers

The Bad Livers are one of the bands at the forefront of a small but intense movement looking to take bluegrass to the next level. Hailing from Austin, Texas and fronted by Danny Barnes, the Bad Livers display influences and styles not often found in bluegrass, including hard rock, punk, hip-hop, and even klezmer (?!), but they show their traditional chops plenty often as well. They rarely (if ever) provide an easy listen, but if you like to be challenged by music, the Bad Livers are formidable opponents indeed.
